Knowing their three preceding releases you know what to expect and if you don’t just take a look at the cover to know where we are heading. From block-rockin’-partyfunk to electro-boogie this album is features 12 dancefloor shureshots. Through the whole album you get breakbeats and chopped up samples galore, scratches and live instrumentation from original Hammond organ to funky saxophone, flute, synths, piano and  percussion.

Battle Of The Year 2010 Since the first Battle Of The Year (BOTY) has taken place in 1990, the annual breathtaking competition of international dance formations has become one of the worlds biggest championship of breakdance. In 2010, more than 400 crews with more than 3.000 dancers took part in 26 official elimination contests worldwide to qualify for the final battle in front of 12.000 fans in Montpellier, France. To deliver the diversity of the competition, the BOTY soundtrack includes various artists and styles: from classical Funk with live instruments, Old School Breakbeats to Electro and modern House / Disco grooves. Employing the original techniques and artform of sampling they bring the bomb track ‘Don’t Wanna Lose it’ in two different versions for your dancing pleasure.

Mixing uplifting disco piano, slamming breakbeats, electro-synth, funky rhodes, and pop vocals to create a catchy sound chopped up ‘inna HipHop style’ – familiar to anybody and outstanding at the same time.

“Imóvel” is the third 12” release from Mr. Confuse’s debut album “Feel The Fire” and it is a winner!

The biggest remix package so far as well as the widest range of styles spread over 6 tracks, that is this 12” vinyl for you. Following the original version of the album highlight “Imóvel” the Australian ambassador of funky styles, better known as Rephrase, drops a mighty Drum ’n’ Bass work-out. US electro-dub specialist Thomas Blondet of “Rhythm And Culture Recordings” follows this with a remix of the album ballad “It’s A Just Blues” with a mighty speeded-up version heading straight towards the dancefloor.
